The concept of antenatal diagnosis arisen with Routine use of ultrasonography (USG) in the follow up of pregnancies during the last two decades has made it possible to recognize a large number of anomalies and diseases related with different organ systems. Genitourinary anomalies make up an important developmental group of anomalies diagnosed with antenatal USG. Congenital anomalies in this group which concerns the parents and the physician are not associated with ominous prognoses less that they are evaluated with a calm manner in a predetermined protocol, except for a few.Keywords: Prenatal diagnosis; abnormalities; hydronephrosisTurkiye Klinikleri J Surg Med Sci 2007, 3(15):26-38
