Neonatal Intestinal Obstruction

Pathology of the gastrointestinal tract is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in the neonatal period. Infants may be presented not only to the neonatologist, general pediatrician or pediatric surgeon but also to the obstetrician and general practitioner. Because of this fact, it is important to be aware of these diseases, their clinical features and diagnostic and therapautic approach to them.
