Prompt Collaboration With Pulmonary Medicine And Thoracic Surgery

Surgical intervention is elective, a long period of preoperative preparation may be beneficial but, all emergency patients should be evaluated in a timely manner. The rapid assesment and treatment in the acute phase are very significant in these patients. Cigarette smokers and pulmonary diseases are at increased risk for emergency patients. The key principle for these patients is pulmonary risk reduction strategies.
