Postmortem Toxicological Analysis

aAdli Tıp AD, Trakya Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi, EDİRNE The medical examiner who performs a forensic autopsy has the responsibility of collecting and preserving biological speciments during autopsy for toxicological testing. In all autopsy cases, blood, urine, bile, vitreous and internal organ speciments should be collected if avilable. If toxicological analyses are avoided, a death due to poisoning may be erroneously attributed to some other causes.
