Acute Glaucoma

Acute glaucoma is a clinical diagnostic entity which may be caused by a number of different diseases. It is most commonly seen as the form of primary acute angle-closure glaucoma. For the treatment of this condition, it has been recommended first to relieve the relative pupillary block by pharmacologic means and to create an iridectomy to cure the pathogenesis.
